What's your favourite kitchen gadget?

I have 2 favourites - a benchtop turbo cooker and my rice cooker.

I just purchased the rice cooker and am kicking myself for not getting one years ago.

I had to throw out a pull top can of salmon today.   the pull top snapped off.   I attacked it with a knife, spoon etc. then gave up and chucked it.

Just to take your mind off the frustration,  do you remember the key supplied with tinned sardines?

I saved a bunch of them so they'd jingle "just like dad's keys".

Kitchen scales are pretty good.

Our Sunbeam sandwich press lives on the bench-top, best thing I ever bought with teens and young adults in the house.
My other fave is my old brown Goldair food processor.
Best swap ever, my hot roller set for her Goldair. Doubt the rollers are going 25 years on.

The water tap.

Water for washing dishes

Water for washing fruit and vegies

Water for drinking and cooking

Water for coffee and tea

and water to fill the ice cube trays.

I think the water tap is the most used gadget in my kitchen.
