Usually 20 or 21, but we find the ducted air con eats up the electricity. Should have got split systems.

wow people like to cool down to 20 -24 no wonder you use so much power,
thats where I like it in winter,
if the aircon maintains a temp below 30 I am happy and dress accordingly

I was told by experts that 24 uses less power, any colder to start and it really races throught the power.

I try to follow the recommendations ie
Generally the best temperature to set your air conditioning to is around 24 - 25°C in summer and 17 - 19°C in winter.
Sometimes I have it a degree lower in summer.

our school saves $400,000 a year in electricity by turning the aircon on at 10.45 on the lower floor and only turning the top floor on at 9.30. They set it to 26
