Wow...I thought it was a joke, but you're right. The pics are in the link Ibis posted. We call them spackle buckets or a 5 gallon bucket, but I never saw a tool to open them. I always inserted a screw driver into the slot and pried upward, breaking the seal, which would turn the slot into a slit....making it possible to open and close them using only your hands.
