I've seen this ad a few times now. I don't think the ad gets its point across. How is it discrimination against just indigenous is a stretch? Just cause the person feel like they've been discriminated because they're indigenous doesn't make it so. You can look suspecious with your hands tucked into your sleeve regardless of your race. Plus that woman frankly just look white to me. And some women simply prefer not to sit next to man on a bus. The last guy just look mediteranian to me even though the only bit related to the indigenous is the "ab0" joke.
I get the point they're trying to make on the ad but it just ends up mocking the indigeous for being cry babies. I don't like this ad.

Is t his racism:
Indigenous All Stars game returns in February
The NRL has confirmed the Indigenous All Stars game will return to the rugby league calendar in 2015 at a meeting with club CEO's today at Rugby League Central.
ETC.
Are non aboriginals selected to play in the Indigenous All Stars?

That is such a true statement. But imo it's only a bad thing if you look and judge the colour and then place yourself or your race on a higher level somehow.
I am curious, why you think it's important to perpetuate the white race, if the white race isn't any better than others. What difference would it make? By mixing races, you might just have found the best of two worlds and two cultures.

Was the Miss South Sudan pageant open to all females?
If they belong to the South Sudan community then I would expect yes. It has nothing to do with colour, but it is the Sudanese community pageant. Just like any other organisation or group has the right to have events for their members without inviting anybody else.

I would assume not, BUT, that should not be a problem, it is their right to have their own team. It would be the same as the all blacks in NZ. Am I right in assuming the all blacks are a maori team.
At the same time would it be considered racist to have an all whites team. In my opinion it should not be.
It would be a bit hard to have a strictly white Aus team, there arn't enough of them to form a team

Because pure and simply that is the race I am more attracted to 🙂 Doesn't mean I'm repulsed by the others, I just favour white people because I feel like they are my people.

Thought provoking Kilroy...
Is it racist that the only doctor I can see at the local community health centre is of either Indian or African decent?
on 09-09-2014 06:34 PM
I am not sure why anyone even needs to define another person by racial appearance. My doctor is my doctor................ it's of no consequence to me what he looks like or what his accent is............
People are just people.............to me.

Me too Az.
My question is, Is there a racist undertone to the fact that only doctors of Indian and African decent are employed at that practice? Or is it just luck of the draw type of thing and maybe after a while the demographic will change or? Is it because there is only Indian and African doctors in Australia? Is there some kind of offering for people from India and Africa to work over here as doctors? Am I being racist asking these questions?
I dont really know anymore because it seems with the mindset of alot of people we all should just be totally oblivious of the obvious differences in people and just view everyone as the same.

How can it be racist undertones that the only doctors in that area are Indian or African? do they advertise that only those nationalities can apply there?
Asking a question can't be considered racist imo.
It isn't a matter of being oblivious of differences though.......................... everyone has their own lifestyle, morals, speech patterns, behaviours etc...................... it's about respecting those differences.
