Where does it come from?

Well I have just been shopping and all the Colgate toothpaste that I looked at comes from Thailand.

It would be great if others posted examples of products and where they come from as I am sure there are plenty of surprises out there.

Sensodyne toothpaste - Thailand

Not that long ago the Colgate Sensitive toothpaste was made in Canada. The cheap $1 type shops sold toothpaste made in Indonesia/Asia.

Got out a can of VB--checked..yep .made in Australia.

Its cold---might as well drink it..................................................Richo.

So I wonder if there are any toothpaste brands made in Australia? I always thought Colgate was made in New Zealand

This could become quite obsessive, I checked my bathroom cupboard and the lux soap comes from Indonesia and the Dove from China, now isn't that ironic lol

I do know where my soap comes from. Ecostore Soap - Made in NZ , bought from the fresh food people.

Also my margarine/spread - rice bran oil .. made in NZ.

I did this exact same thing yesterday!. Macleans is made in South Africa.

Checked the Colgate, Sensodyne and Oral B. Thailand and Mexico from memory.

The only one in Woolies that was Australian made and owned was Cedel, so that's the one I bought.
