who thinks plastic bags are free? I think it sux that when i buy more groceries than what fits in my green bags that I have to pay extra for a bag. People coming from interstate get caught out all the time too. Its a pain having to remember to bring your green bags everywhere

You can buy biodegradable bin liners. I use them. Any plastic supermarket bags I bring home I take back there and put in the recycling bin the supermarket supplies.
Stopping plastic bags ending up in landfill is
the point not who profits from them.
Taking them back to the store doesn't make them disintegrate. They are still dumped. The all-powerful people who profit make the pollution rules.

It wasn't reallyy difficult back then polksa, because we didn't know about plastic and so paper bags were used to carrying the shopping, newspaper wrapped the garbage. Shops wrapped meat in white paper.. and so on...
All paper was collected by various companies.. We used to be supplied with a very large hessian bag to drop the used paper into
I'm just glad they have never made plastic toilet paper
But it would be very hard to go back to those days if you have never lived without plastic.
