Yes, I saw their story a few days ago.  The sentence is pathetic, considering all the chances he has been previously given.

Judges only give decent sentences to money crimes these days.  You can probably get longer than that for tax avoidance.

But only if you're a small scale tax avoider.

The likes of Murdoch and Rinehart will never be punishedfor avoiding their tax obligations .

I know the driver who did that, he went to school with my children and is well known in the town. I am gob smacked that he got such a light sentence, consider also, his own child's injuries have left her brain damaged.
