one thing that makes me very proud to be a part of this civilized world is the ongoing attempt to treat animals with dignity and in a

humane way and that is not cutting their throats enough to make them die a slow and agonising death without some kind of sedation

I thought this was a straight forward choice but the answers sometimes surprise me.

That wasn't your original question Bob.  If it was my kids being starved to death then nothing would stop me from fixing it.

Kids are starving in other countries and I'm very sad about that, but if my dog was being abused then that would be my major concern today.

I posted on this thread not to answer your question but to raise awareness of the plight of some animals re halal
