Who are the 75 Australian 'scientists and professionals' who say there is no climate emergency?
willing to put their names on a document but go into hiding if anyone 'looks them up'
if they really believe in their version of climate change come out and explain it to me.

Seems a certain type of people need the stress of imminent disaster , life threatening contrast , in order to feel legitimately alive

Saying there is no climate emergency is not the same thing as saying there is no climate change.
Climate isn't a constant. We might think it is because a human lifetime is short, but the reality is there have been some quite big moves in climate over the last few centuries, let alone over longer time periods.
So the question isn't if the climate will change, it is how quickly and to what extent and also, to what extent humans are having an impact, because the climate will change a bit, humans or no humans, but it would be useful to know how much of it is in our hands and what we can do.
The climate change topic though is becoming like a religion to some people, it's the gospel and God help anyone who questions any aspect of it.
It is such a pervasive attitude that someone's job could actually be on the line if it becomes known they are not a climate activist. It's a pity as honest debate & discussion isn't a bad thing.

yep, as emergencies go climate change isnt going to be an overnight event
its like being stabbed really slowly
will you die straight away, no
but the further the knife goes the less chance of survival
what climate change advocates are saying we are reaching the point of no return
wont be in my lifetime that things get so bad its obvious
why should i worry
seems to be the attitude of many
as ive said before
if they are wrong and theres no climate change but we believe there is
and we get our act together and stop poluting the carp out of the planet
isnt that good thing to do?
just sayin
