I'll give you an example of a hypothetical difference.
X owes Z money. X agrees that they owe Z money, but they take several months sending the check.
Karma: Z gets a check(sent accidentally) in the mail that belongs to X. LOL That is bad Karma on X. Z might send that check right out to X, because they are a good person.
Newton's law: Z doesn't send the check until they get the money owed from X. They are reacting to X's behavior.
As you can see, Z has no control over Karma.
Z does control the outcome by their reaction.

Thanks joono, but I am not positive what you or that all means.
I like to stay sure-footed, lol.

It's interesting that you use the word argument.......
It's interesting that you have referred to argument strategies more than the topic.....that speaks volumes.
Again....... underwhelming.

It's a game of cat and mouse but it's not always easy to tell which one is the cat.

To simplify for you.... cause and effect....action and reaction......
There are no examples in nature where this is not true..... or..... can you think of some?
Too funny, attempting to use science to "prove" a fundamental doctrine in Buddhism. giggle.

boris, karma isn't just about buddhism. it goes by other names,in other religions. in mine,it's generally referred to as the rule of 3.
what you send out returns to you 3fold,in this lifetime, and the next cycle you'll live through.
as the phrase goes" the road to hell is paved with good intentions". we don't always think about how situations will pan out LATER,you know?
