I actually met someone with a science degree today who doesn't believe in evolution and KNOWS that all humans came from Adam and Eve.:O
"Why are there still monkeys today if humans evolved from monkeys?" is a common belief amongst creationists. Who here doesn't know the answer to this?
Who here doesn't think that evolution is the best explanation for all the different living species on Earth today?

What I don't like is the arrogance of the religious claiming that God designed the whole universe just for us. 😐
Which "religious" claim that? I'm not one of them and neither are many "religious" that I know.

I'm such a thread killer

No-one I know claims that. Where do you get your information there Bob??
Bob wrote:"Oh BTW rabbit, supposely you interpret the day to be billion years in genesis right. Why are the order of creation contradictory to what scientific evidence reveals."
Firstly, I don't interpret 'the day' to be anything. I only said that the Creative Days MUST have been 'millions or even billions of years long'. Otherwise, it just doesn't make sense, does it??
Secondly, sorry Bob, you'll need to explain just what you mean by 'contradictory to what science reveals'. In what area? Please share your information. I am always willing to learn.

that's the only thing you think which doesn't make sense in the bible?:O

Bob, if you are just picking for picking's sake .... I guess you won't 'share', will you?
As I said: "you'll need to explain just what you mean by 'contradictory to what science reveals'. In what area? Please share your information. I am always willing to learn."

Well, it really comes down to how you view the bible?
Do you believe everything in the bible is the literal fact and is inerrant? you're welcome to say the bible is an allogory or parables and not meant to be taken as facts.
If you don't believe it's fact then it doesn't contradict science. And I need not explain any further. 🙂

Now Bob ... no cheating ... you said explicitly:
"Oh BTW rabbit, supposely you interpret the day to be billion years in genesis right. Why are the order of creation contradictory to what scientific evidence reveals. "
so, in what way does the order of creation contradict what scientific evidence reveal???
It's easy to explain what you mean .... just say ' the bible says X was created before Y, but scientific evidence says it's the other way round'.

Scientific evidence does not say that anything was created in the sense of suddenly appearing in its ultimate form.. It shows that over hundreds of millions of years lifeforms evolved minuscule step by minuscule step from earlier more primitive lifeforms. And at every step, these lifeforms were competing with each other and other lifeforms for survival. Some lifeforms e.g. dinosaurs were so successful they 'ruled' the earth for millions of years until a dramatic change in the environment - possibly caused by a massive meteorite - caused them to become extinct and enabled other, surviving lifeforms, notably primitive mammals, to take their place.
