?
The facts of last week I mean, as they are different this week.
Who told him he was wrong?
Did the facts change? Or was it a matter of being caught out lying?
Or is it a secret?
Does anyone see a pattern to what we are told? When we are told it?
Wouldn't it be easier to just spit out what you know?
Does Scott Morrison have a mental illness? Should he be excused because he is a Christian?
Solved! Go to Solution.

Oops back pedal I meant.
It's kinda funny seeing people crying about the carbon tax "lie", completely ignoring that she had to negotiate in order to run a hung parliament. Still, I agree, it was a backflip.
However...this abbott govt has lied about everything...
Gonski
NBN
work choices
Economy
Pensions
Medicare
Etc.
Everything they have done so far is opposite to their promises made pre-election. They can't use the excuse of a hung parliament, so what is their excuse?
It appears they've even hired advisors who lie. Sack them all, they're not fit to govern.
Sorry your excuses don't cut it.
There will be no CARBON TAX under a government I lead.
Total lie led to total annihilation of Labor. It will never go away no matter how you try to whitewash it. This Labor betrayal will haunt them for decades.
She lied to try to win an election then capitulated to the Greens when we all know and she knew the greens would never support Abbott.
A bare faced lie then tried to lie about the lie. Then we are still left with all the Labor failures and the hypocritical Labor members who couldn't govern in power and are bleating now.

"it was a backflip." You end up going in the same direction after a backflip JMK.!
"However...this abbott govt has lied about everything..."
Economy? really when ASX 200 is at a 6-year high?.
"Everything they have done so far is opposite to their promises made pre-election. They can't use the excuse of a hung parliament, so what is their excuse?"
"Everything"? try these promises: stop the Clean Energy Finance Corporation from writing business, and cease granting permanent protection visas to asylum seekers found to be refugees who had arrived by boat.
"They can't use the excuse of a hung parliament, so what is their excuse?"
I would suggest a hung-up/obstructionist opposition apropos the Coalition's major promises, and the fact that the ALP/Greens have Senate control means something, maybe!
I judge the authenticity/reliability of posts by their accuracy, and while I do understand political bias and that a cathartic post might provide short term relief from political reality, inaccuracy does negate the whole and subsequent posts, however biased,.

If you believe that, Windrake, than you are a lot more poltically naive than I took you for. The average Australian voter expects to be lied to by politicians: q) How do you know when a politician's lying? a) Watch his lips - if they're moving, he's lying. And as I said before, they have very short attention spans. They may have remembered the 'carbon tax lie' when they voted in the last election, they will probably remember Abbotts lies when they vote in the next one, but to say that a tax which has had very little noticable impact on the general population will 'haunt' a party for 'generations' is patently absurd.

Not only won't forget the lies but they'll never forget the 55,000 immigrants who waltzed over the borders for 6 years straight at the cost of 1100 lives we know of and $10 billion dollar bill we will be trying to pay off at the expense of working families for far into their future.
So no, I am far from naive as you so kindly pointed with some "fact" from wherever but thank you for your effort.

It's so obvious that it's the carbon tax/ALP fault, just be reading the last 1/2 dozen posts it should now be clear to everyone - topic question answered - IT'S ALL LABORS FAULT - no matter what the topic.

Of course we'll forget - it's what we do best. You won't because you are passionately committed to the conservative cause - just as I am sure there are a few passionately committed Labor supporters who are still 'maintaining the rage' over the dismissal of the Whitlam Government, but the average man or woman in the street is not idealogically committed -unless whatever they are angry about is something that affects their lives in a personal way, then once the initial drama is over they really couldn't care less.
