I have always bought mine p.js and a token egg. they always got far too much chocolate.

never did an Easter egg hunt I've always been too worried about me dogs. They can sniff it out a mile away. Easter is a very busy time at the vets!

I dunno Squirrel but we had 4 kids who received chocolate from at least 15 people and it was wasted half the time, left all over the house for the dogs to eat or me to pick up.

Yes, It was mainly to cut the amount of chocolate down.  It is also supposed to be a day of celebration so a gift doesn't hurt.  My kids got jumpers as winter was coming on.
