Don't cook much now.

But my Margaret Fulton cookbook had the most "scratch and sniff" spills/wiped pages.  It was a gift with my Sunbeam mixmaster from my mum for  my 20th birthday/wedding.

The mixer came with attachments.  Remember.....the juicer with spout, and the blender.  Sorry the piccy is a bit big.

They are all rubbish. Too much sugar or salt being used all the time. If you want to be fat all your life they are perfect.

My favourite chef is my son, but he's too messy to be thrilled about him cooking at home.
As far as tv chefs go, I am rather partial to an Irish accent so I like to watch Colin F, and Karen Martini is the new Nigella according to my menfolk.

My favourite Chef is my daughter-in-law. She is a whizz in the kitchen and produces the most delicious morsels for a big crowd in no time.

No, she is not a professional Chef, but loves entertaining.

Her busy office job never stops her to find an excuse to gather family and friends in her house for a feast.

Will be going there tomorrow for Mothers Day. Spending time with children, grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and enjoying the fantastic food on offer.

Lucky me.

Her dad  and mum (and Billie if she is home) would have been milking an hour and a half or so already this morning

and here am I nursing a sore head and bashing away on the keyboard.... well at least i have let the chooks and goats out

Masterchef

Billie McKay, 23, New South Wales, Restaurant Manager

Growing up on a dairy farm in the peaceful, lush surrounds of New South Wales’ mid-north coast, Billie knows about hard graft. As one of five siblings, everybody was expected to pitch in with farming chores. Billie would often cook dinner for the family. She counts her superwoman mum, Alison, as her main kitchen idol. Not only did Alison raise five young kids, work on the farm and serve beautiful family meals, she also taught her children to cook.
