Particularly when every Labor governement in living history has amounted such huge debts whilst in office?
Or is it just that they blindly follow the old mantra, that 'Labor is for the working man?'
Now don't get me wrong - I don't particularly like Abbott, and I sure as h3ll didn't like Rudd or Gillard, but there's so much more to a political party than it's leader.
Feel free to discuss...

Not true. It showed the pathetic attempt at diversion, along with picking on spelling errors, a favourite of those with no argument to the topic, unless it's one they agree with, then all boot's on the other foot, so to speak.

So, back to the original topic. We are shaped by are parents lives. Build up your own business, tend to have been mostly Libs. Always worked for a boss, tend to be Labour. And it's staunch because it comes from our parents.
Some people think for themselves, are aware of what's going on in the real world and vote accordingly, some go for knee-jerk reactions, vote for the one thats not in now.
It's all very complicated.

I agree Nev, it can get complicated and convoluted. I put some of the blame on people who are shortsighted, unaware and apathetic. They do not even understand the basics of economy or justice and focus on nothing but themselves and how to maximise their gains by ANY means.
There is a gross lack of foresight and logic when it comes to the debt that the country and individuals are chalking up.
Eventually the piper has to be paid.

I disagree my parents are business people and I have the same values as them but I don't vote the same as them
(nor am I a labourer )
