Why do people observe Good Friday?

Why Friday?

will tell you that he is an expert in Scripture.He assures you that Hell is not real and that Jesus is not YHWH.

Scholars will tell you they know it all.They have jobs in universities and seminaries etc.They preach the Word of God or write books on it.They ALL tell you that Jesus was crucified on a Friday.

The Bible does not say that.In fact the Bible appears to be absolutely showing that the cricifixion took place on a Thursday.

So my question is simple.Why would they believe anything these people say when the get the simple things so wrong?

Secondly many many people will say that the Bible translations are correct.There is a KJV only movement and they will tell you tat the KJV must be followed.

If you tell them the Bible is mistranslated they go beserk.

So if any one is interested I will show you through the Bible that not only was the crucifixion on a Thursday and not Friday that also the Bible is mistranslated.

If anyone wants to make fun or start a fight they will be reported and ignored.If anyone wants to search for the truth I am here to help you find the truth.I do not want to fight.I just want you to search for and find the truth.

I am not fighting.But comes here and tells people that the Bible says this or that and he is wrong.He will not accept he is wrong.He even called Jesus a liar in order not to say he is wrong.He believes in Jesus and the day of resurrection yet in order to win he is prepared to say Jesus is a liar.

That is pride.

If people do not teach the Bible correctly then how can you know what it says?

Many say that Jesus taught to love everyone.That is not true.Because they do not study and never fo Scripture upon Scripture they miss the point.

EG do you know WHY Jesus said to forgive your enemy?

I did think it was funny when he quoted Graham, saying to ignore Paul. That is a bit like the internet.

The bible is full of strange things. 

There is something about slaves being able to leave after 7 years. If they choose to stay, you can put a nail through their head, in a doorway. They might choose that option if they want to stay with their wife. That is not exactly perfect, since I don't study the bible. 

I'm not sure what that would be a metphor for, either. Maybe you can explain that passage for me. 

It's not that far after the 10 commandments...if that helps any.

This is Jesus speaking AFTER his resurrection.

Luke 24:  6 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise  from the dead the third day,"

Okay, I found some references to the above passage. I think the nail thing must be a stamp(hole) in the ear, showing the 6 years of servitude completed. The slave can go free after 6 years. If they choose to stay, they get marked as free to leave???? 

The bible needs a serious updated version.

No, doesnt tell people the Bible says this - he SHOWS them by quoting scriptures.

Anyway, I have to RUN now. I have an appointment with opthalmologist - post-operation.

I just quoted you a scripture above - what Jesus said AFTER his resurrection - ie that he would rise on the third day - which as you will appreciate is not the same as 'after 3 days' which would mean he would rise on the fourth day..
