I know no one here are really ridgey didgey Muslims. But I'm just curious how women rationalize choosing Islam as a guide to life??? If you were in their shoes, how would you justify it?
WHat does Islam provide these women that other religion can't??? Islam is the fastest growing religion even in Western countries. THere must be something attractive about it for women.
I'm not talking about women who are indoctrinated as kids and brainwashed but women who have the option of choice later in life.
I just want to hear logical and rational reasons why YOU THINK these women choose to become the whole hog of burkas/hijabs wearing muslims??

:^O You can't have it both ways, Bob. You have told me that religion precludes rational thinking.
I don't actually know who has more children, religious or non religious. As you know, I grew up in a country where almost 100% of the population was Catholic. It was more common to see one or two child families especially in the city areas.
You might want to do some research about Soviet pronatalism and the Nazi Lebensborn program.
Show me where I said that?? Infact I'll argue the opposite. I'll debate individual points as irrational.
Have a guess, who has more children in general, mulsims/chrisitans or atheists?

I made it up, Bob :^O
You said most of Europe was atheist so that's one continent out of the way when it comes to who has most children.

Give me a rational logical reason why the Catholic church is so strongly against condoms?
Numerically who has more kids, religious or non religious?
The Catholic church believes that artificial contraception is morally wrong because it synthetically divides and seperates what God intended to always be together.
Morally, each and every sex act can occur between only husband and wife, and is intended to show love and unity and possibly create life.
The Church believes that married conjugal love - the intimacy between husband and wife - is the most profound union on earth at the natural level.
The physical union of bodies in married sex represents the spiritual reality of two becoming one flesh.
When love and life - unity and procreation - are separated, then sex becomes an end to itself rather than a means to an end. (So I have to admit, I now wonder, why make it so a pig gets a 30 minute orgasm?)
Birth control makes sex recreational, and removing what may be perceived as the "danger" of pregnancy, means the couple no longer need to communicate about when and when not to have sex, and whether they want or can afford another child.
The communication and consideration, that's necessitated by the possibility of having a child strengthens the marriage

That reminds me, "Love and Responsibility" by Karol Wojtyła is a book worth reading.

Hmmmm, I never knew that was the reasoning. Thanks.
