I've never heard anything so preposterous. So we are to believe that the instant McCartney 'died', suddenly, as if by magic, his doppelganger appeared ? If those two images are supposed to convince us, then all I can say is that if they are a couple of different people, then McCartney has an identical twin. And all this happened in the full glare of the Beatles popularity did it ?. What a crock of garbage.
I've always thought that Starr was not quite right in the head, and this outburst confirms it. He was a pretty mediocre drummer too.

EMB
Interesting !
Re "He was a pretty mediocre drummer too.", he certainly doesn't seem to make the top 10 or 20 on a regular basis and
is certainly not the name that jumps to your thoughts when it comes to drummers.
Not like Keith Moon, Phil Collins just off the top of my head.

I'll only believe it if Paul comes out and says it's true. either Paul, makes no diffrence. lol.. He was the only one of the group to really put out some good songs after the Beatles disbanded. His solo stuff, the "Wings" stuff, his work with Michael Jackson, was right up there with, if not better than the songs The Beatles put out.

I wish McCartney would lie down.

Reminds me of that conspiracy theory "Paul is dead" raging back in the day.
Paul was the only one not wearing shoes on Abbey Road, play Rev #9 backwards and hear "Paul is Dead" (I even tried that lol), all the lyrics that were questionable (Fool On the Hill etc.). The theorists had a field day.
Haven't read the link (sorry OP) so this may have been covered.
