Will they all stop?

Will we see an end to the political threads once the election is over?

Yes???

No???

Why cant there be one Labor party thread and one Liberal Party thread?

The reason why there is such antipathy against political threads is that the majority of them are shining a light on the Labor failures of the last 6 years.

This brings on Labor angst & the result is mass reportings to drive this type of thing off the boards. Then we have the polls to see if they should be banned & the ludicrous comment of 1 thread for Labor & 1 thred for Libs which would result in NO debate.

I've said it many times: DON'T GO ONTO THE POLITICAL THREADS...DON'T READ POLITICAL THREADS...DON'T PARTICIPATE ON POLITICAL THREADS...after all, nobody is twisting your arm to do so.

Sheesh..... it's not rocket science.

You know what? I think there should be no more whinging about political threads or make start own group for whinging aboout it. Heart

No I don't think it will stop. People should be politically aware as our daily lives are largely affected by our leader's decisions and world events

What? And you really believe that the rubbish posted on these boards makes us politically aware?

If you don't read them they wont increase your awareness .DDB

I read them all and either express my belief or my disbelief and yep it does increase my awareness ๐Ÿ™‚

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

actually the majority of the political threads are little more than repetitive name calling and rehashing the same events from a slightly different perspective over and over again.

I don't go into the political threads very often but the political posts invade pretty much most of the threads on here.

THAT is what i believe the majority of complaining posters are sick and tired of.

There is plenty of room for all threads. As as Aztrec says if you are not intyerested in what affects your everyday life than stick to the threads that address the things you are interested in, threads such as "why does my vacuume cleaner smell of dust". and so on.

Yep not rocket science, perhaps a bit of self control could overcome the curiosity ๐Ÿ™‚

It's hard not to go into them when the topic doesn't mention that it's a political thread. I just wish you guys would put a P at the beginning of your topic so those of us not wishing to contribute would know what threads to stay away from.
