She has been known to throw up food... done it all her life so not worried about that in general as she does not like some brands or additives... BUT this time she has thrown up clear mucus... she has done that before when she has eaten grass but there was no grass in her upchuck this time...
she was sitting behind me when she did this and I didn't even hear her...
I went looking for her and when I found her she had thrown up again but had this mucus running out of her nose as well and was just hanging there...
I cleaned her up and she was just really still and a bit angry at me for touching her...
she then went outside 4hrs ago and I have not seen her since... bit unusual as it is getting dark...
Anyone else had cats do this... and coming out of their nose (that is the part I am worried about)
I don't think she is doing a sad cat routine..

Thats a good sign, I have to say she looks grumpy for a very pretty cat.

She is one of the grumpiest cats I have even knows... she is never "happy".. even when she purrs she has the air of grumpy about her...
she is one of those cats that if you pat her once too often she attacks...
She is also a seat thief... as soon as I get up from the couch... even for just 2 seconds, she will be in my seat... she can be sitting next to me and when I get up move into my spot...
she is really not a very nice cat most of the time... but she is so lovable.. lol

I found out the other day that all tortoiseshell cats are female and if one is a male it will be a sterile one and not "really a male"
Just a bit of random trivia... my Tiny cat is a Tortoiseshell cat..
Yep, and around 99% of ginger cats born are Male.. I have a female.. She's pretty stupid.

OMG! that could soooo be our cat, Schooner. We inherited her from my son when he moved out and she is now at least 20 years old - we can't be more exact because she was full grown when he got her. She is also a seat stealer and also climbs onto my lap the minute I sit down - but it's not to show she loves me, just to proclaim ownership. When I'm nursing her she likes me to stroke her - but woe betide anyone who tries to touch her at any other time.
She hates our younger cat, Bagheera and spits and hisses at him every time he comes near her. he knows this and makes a game of it - inching his way closer and closer just to provoke her.

hahaha
Tiny is also a hisser and a spitter... she hates our other cat Sox and has done so ever since his first day with us... all he wants to do is play with her yet she hates him.... We had her for five years before Sox arrived...
Sox is a stirrer because he will sleep in her sleeping spot when she gets up and she needs to find a new one... he rarely steps within five feet of her unless they are at the food bowls or near the heater... but when he does come near her she constantly growls at him so he can't even sleep peacefully in the glow of the heater.. or eat peacefully. He often walks away from the food bowl hungry.
