I'm starting to become a tad concerned, hoping my town doesnt flood, like it did last yr

Hubs had a nightmare trip into town this morning, quite a few tree branches down on part of the highway, cleanup crews everywhere,  sawing n chopping n getting them off the road, traffic was slowed to 40 kph.  Very lucky no one had on come down on top of them.

Still blowing a gale here, so am thinking there will be more trees down, during the day, hoping we don't get a power blackout

It does a little Bushie.   The winters in Quebec are not unlike the Alaskan in terms of the cold and the beautiful 'whiteness' of it all in the forests and mountains.

I was a bit concerned that I hadn't heard from you for the best part of half a day, then it occurred to me that you must have gone into town to get yourself one of these to rest the modem on, so you can stay online even in the worst of circumstances, ha ha.
