Well, looks like it's going to happen in the next 24 hours or so.
I think Rudd will get in. I think it will be all over by tomorrow at the latest.
What do you reckon?

Some may be, but take it to a local level and it goes SNAFU...e.g. while local councilors change, the bureaucracy does not and the code of conduct prevents elected representatives from even approaching said bureaucrats in most LGA's......it's the same as you go up the ladder. it's the Bureaucrats running the show, not unlike 'Yes Minister'.
Let's take 'IPART you from you cash' for instance....made up of bureaucrats, for the purpose of reviewing increases in everything under the sun, but with ABSOLUTELY no redress or access to the general public if they wish to object?...huh?...so what happened to redress?
Then take it higher up the ladder, and you'll find even more USELESS bureaucracies. I'm not talking front line Humanities Katy....but this country is WAY too over governed & over bureaucratized.

Katter's giving a press conference right now. He's going to support Rudd if he becomes leader.
Sure, Cue, I agree on the local politics ... but I was talking about the Commonwealth PS. My old department was excellent and did give frank and fearless advice to the Minister. Others were rather scary.
I've got a funny story I might email to you 🙂

ML: ".......I don't know what will happen today, but, in the very near future, you should all be watching little Billy Shorten"
I agree.
