I hope they keep him on a tight leash. After his cringeworthy comments about Japan being his new Asian bestie, and the dressing-down bishop got from China, maybe they're going there to apologise. And apparently robb is leading a 630-strong trade delegation (!) to prove that Australia is "open for business".
Hopefully abbott will stay quiet. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"

Maybe the travelling billionaires are paying,
Foreign minister Julie Bishop will also attend while Mr Abbott has given his parliamentary secretary Josh Frydenberg the task of shepherding the travelling party of 20 CEOs, including Westpac boss Gail Kelly, Commonwealth Bank boss Ian Narev, ANZ’s Mike Smith, Orica’s Ian Smith and the Business Council of Australia’s Jennifer Westacott.
All three travelling billionaires have significant business interests in China and have pushed for closer economic relations.
If Abbott still believes, as he said last year, that these political questions have no impact on trade, he is in for a rude shock. And if things go badly it will be Abbott’s fault, because things need not be this hard.
Abbott says his foreign policy is all about trade, but so far, it has been all about sentiment. The best explanation of Abbott’s turn towards Japan is the simplest. He fears and resents China’s growing power, and has no idea of how Australia should respond to it.
