and now we need a second posterior

here we go , AMA wants Australia to create an American style CDC permanent national controlling department in order to

" to better cope and co-ordinate with future health crisis "

With our 103 deaths , better cope than who ? America 120,000+ deaths , maybe Italy 34,000+ deaths , Brazil ?

Observation clearly indicates our current system of chaos and panic and the hasty formation of a reasonably representitive committee motivates for effective action , minimises red-tape, and is not powerful enough to distort local media reporting nor resist public critique

Maybe our system should be studied in the light of results

AMA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Medical_Association

One of its stated aims is "leading the health policy debate by developing and promoting alternative policies to those government policies that the AMA considers poorly targeted or ill-informed; responding to issues in the health debate through the provision of a wide range of expert resources; and commissioning and conducting research on health issues.".

What I meant was if we have been so successful - why do we need bureaucratic structural changes in line with overseas pandemic mitigation structures that have been argueably disasterous - or is our success a cause for some high level disquiet.... ?
