Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. ๐

Taking my sore head off to bed. Good night and sweet dreams to all.

Last night I told my husband that I have to paint some flower, this morning he send me an e-mail and a picture, telling me; "Here is some flour for you to paint." ๐ฎ
:^O:^O:^O
I have a half finished painting of Orchids, but don't know if to finish it or just paint a single flower?

BTW, hubby is not a bad artist either. He does a lot of paintings on glass and has donated several for fundraisers like Cancer and the Royal Melbourne Childrens Hospital.
Here are just a couple of samples of his art.
The black and white oil painting is one of Peters, the horse head, the Rosellas and the rose are his glass paintings, the other birs are some of my craft.
Just thought I'd share a bit more.
Good Night all, Erica ๐

Thank you, pimpy and pepe. Peter and I met on the internet in 2005 and our love for arts and crafts developed into friendship and eventually more. In December 2006 we got married. I was 70 years old and Peter 69. There is nothing better than having a companion in old age to share the same interests and having fun together. Going fishing, camping, prospecting for gold and gems and travelling together to meet a lot of other internet friends.
Here is the black and white painting. It was one of the first ones Peter has made when starting to learn how to paint. Shades of black and white is one of the first things most Art Teachers teach.
If you click on the little triangle on top, you will get a better picture.

pimpy, the Rosellas are sparkly, so are the other glass paintings. Peter used Pebeo Glass paints that are transparent, and backs them with crinkled up alfoil. Only the background is solid paint.
