art thread?

Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks cuddly.

katy, the flowers look GREAT! ๐Ÿ™‚

cuddly, a bunch of us tried to help gill with the camera several pages back, to no avail. So someone suggested that maybe one of gill's technically inclined relatives can help. So her son-in-law will be dropping by next week, if I can remember correctly.

Oh yeah, cuddly, your horse paintings are respectable efforts. Hope to see more of your work. ๐Ÿ™‚

Did some more drawing tonight. 1-2 more nights of drawing. 1-2 nights of colouring, and it should be ready for submission. This is the last teaser before the final submission. ๐Ÿ˜›

I suck at drawing cats, you're a braver man than me taking that on.

Thanks for your efforts to try and help this camera dyslexic:^O

A. is also going to help me with some computer stuff, so hoping for the best..otherwise my rose that I put up at the beginning will have to be the entry for the "flower".

Oh! do you have a memory card for the camera, Gill? There should be an option to move/copy the photos stored on the camera onto the removable memory card

Ok, you will need an SD card for it, not sure what gig size it will go to, get a 4 should do it, then in the menu in the camera you should be able to copy the photos off internal to external/SD card.

Oh forgot to say, you need the sd card because it will hold more photos than internal memory, plus it is easy to remove and then take to get photos printed, or, my favourite way, burned on to a cd.

If you have a card reader in your computer you can just put the card in there and save straight to your computer, I do recommend burning on to disc as well, that way if the 'puter crashes you will still have your photos.:-x
