art thread?

Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

I don't know the answer to that, katy. Maybe try it with Firefox? I can do it no problems with Opera.

i did this one in photoshop, everything is my 'painting' apart from the foliage along the fence and front, i did those with brushes.

i printed it out on vinyl and hung it in my laundry.

Here's the unfinished portrait of my son who is now 16. It needs a lot more done to  it, I would really like to build up the layers of paint, it's still very much an underpainting to me. I don't have the time to get stuck into it at the moment but hopefully this thread will inspire me in a few weeks.

Kengillard, Something ended up on FB? you must have accidentally posted it there instead of here.

Katy I had so much trouble putting photo's  up via PB I add the photo from my desktop now (as instructed by someone earlier in this thread) and that works, even downsizes the size of the photo.

Pepe, your teddy bear pictures are splendid.

As for faces though, I think I'd better abandon those, it took me three days to do that silly one without the ears ..  :^O

So, I'll start a painting tomorrow or Wednesday, that's my project, no idea what I'll paint, so it will be a random thing.
