All of which, has not a thing to do re people using their mobile ph while driving ..... If they are caught, I hope they get a huge fine and disqualified from driving ( which sadly they wont )

I think texting while driving is worse than drunk driving, at least a drunk is trying to focus on the road (no way am I excusing it). The penalties for mobile phone use in cars are far too lenient, in an ideal world the arresting officer would be able to destroy the phone and the sim card and then fine the offenders.
