car windscreen cleaners..

on my way home on this scorching 41+ degrees day the air-cond  swtiched on in lukecool mode, i pulled up behind a few cars at a set of lights

   i saw a young couple red raw racing up and down sweat pouring off them cleaning windscreens

the most ridiculous thing ive seen for a long time, shaking my head hoping they wont get to me by the time the lights turn green

i cant stand them at the best of times, they annoy the heck out of me.......

Yes, they had a crackdown on them..it is not safe, and they are annoying.

Even if it's dirty, don't you have washer fluid in the wipers?

I don't tip them often, but a while back there was a guy walking the traffic asking for money (not even cleaning windscreens) and I like his attitude...he didn't get too intrusive, just the opposite. I gave him a twenty and his reaction was worth every penny.

It is illegal in Qld.  Once my car was accosted in this way, and I put the car alarm on.  He disappeared in a hurry.

i thought of blowing the horn at them, but.. that might have an opposite affect and attract them!

jim i dont add any washing liquids in the wiper water bottle, cos i reckon treated water should be rinsed off after

I saw them on Saturday in the 43 deg heat as well, stupid...I wave them away, I don't want my screen cleaned unless my whole car gets cleaned.
