Dear Mods. Is it possible to create a political discussion board similar to the Art and Crafts or the Fun and Games Board?

That way the politickers could argue politics all day long if they wished without disrupting the flow of general discussion topics on Community Spirit.

Why? Most of the regulars join other conversations as well.

The spammers will probably be gone now anyway.

This feels like an attempt to shut those whos opinions differ out.

So often current affairs, news and politics are mixed. 

Creating a political board would just be another way of banning political discussion because nobody would go to a specific board.

Where would current affairs and news fit?

Politics is part of life ...it doesn't ever stop .It certainly hasn't stopped even though Tony abbott has now taken over.For some of us it is part of our everyday general discussion and always will be.

 why would they make a board nobody posts on.  it would trickle back anyway. hover is probably the best defence or a requirement to note political content in the title .. like a large P.
