thomson's got numerous trolls, sick forum bloggers, crooked punters, money launderers, failed politicians, dirty radio presenters, bent coppers, bent ex-coppers, and o'course, all those who are too stupid to know that they're being led along by the ring in their nose.

I think it is a smear campaign but I strongly suspect he is guilty and Labor should have got rid of him yonks ago. There are worse people out there than Craig Thompson, all those involved in the slipper case carry more dirt.

When it goes to court, sometimes some charges are dropped and they concentrate on just a few. Does this mean there was no proof to begin with? and reading (skimming) that document, I noticed that there were 3 charges to each allegation..... so chances are you can divide the 154 by 3.....at the very least.

The more I see the less I'm convinced of his guilt of anything other than stupidity and carelessness.

Most of the charges so far seem to be small add ons with fuel. These would surely be collected by the office manager when balancing the books.

There was so much noise over this being over half a million in fraud and yet all we see are 6 brothel payment accusations and a bunch of ice-cream and cigarette purchases.

That statement is either a willful distortion of the facts or extremely sloppy use of the English language. What the investigation has is evidence suggesting criminal activity - whether or not that evidence constitutes proof is yet to be tested in court.
