Extirpation. What does it mean? No googling or looking up in the dictionary, or getting the answer from someone else who googled it or looked it up. Someone has got to know! I don't, that's why I am asking you lot! 😛
Whoever knows what it means, tell us, and then give us another word. If no-one knows what it means after 2 hours, then someone can look it up in the dictionary, tell us what it means, then give us another word.
Go!

I didn't have a clue so I looked it up, but my lips are sealed.

Actually, one hour is still too long. At this rate, we might get only 16 or so words during the waking day.
Let's make it 15 minutes. If no-one knows the meaning after 15 minutes, then someone look it up, tell us, and give us another word.
Also, if there are multiple meanings to a word, then any meaning will do.
And I am opening to suggestions for more rules!

Yes, you are right. I'd never even realised the existence of the Fun & Games forum.
I'll see if I can get it moved there.
