How many people in jail  because of this drug running pair

how many lives have been ruined because of them

how many family have this drug running pair ruined

how many people addicted to drugs because of them

how many people dead from their drugs

these 2 are not heros... they are well known drug runners who have ruined countless lives because of their  greed.

bet they would still be running drugs if they hadnt been caught and destroying countless lives

There has been quite a bit written about the others. 

In fact your post comes directly after a discussion about a non-Australian.

Regardless, obviously our own citizens would feature most heavily in our own minds.

And the difference between what happens in the US and in Indonesia is that at least in the US they get a fair trial.

For greed, they gave no thought to the lives that their wares were putting in jeopardy, what they were peddling affected many many lives but they didn't care, greed was the ruler.

They came unstuck and they have paid the price, 2 lives for perhaps hundreds and further thousands ruined cheap exchange. may they rot in hell if there is one.

Why do some posters always have to divide people along political lines?  This has nothing to do with politics.  Most people here do not condone capital punishment, simple.  Many of us who are very strongly against death penalty, and therefore against these guys being executed, are also appalled by the hero status they are being given by the media.  This hysteria is being perpetuated by constant reporting of what the guys were doing, who they were seeing, and now where their bodies are traveling, which to me is sick.  Is it going to continue when they arrive back to Australia?  They should be whisked away secretly and buried quietly by their families, to allow them some dignity.

I have just read the thread and did not see a single comment that suggested they are heroes, are not guilty, should be set free or anything remotely similar. 

Some seem incapable of rational thought about the issue and assume if you're not baying for blood you're claiming they are innocent.

How could any rational person reach that conclusion?   It's a totally ludicrous suggestion.  and a completely failed attempt to divide comment to fit their own political bias.
