Why spend all day on stupid games?
If one has enough free time where they don't need to work or earn an income, why isn't one volunteering to help the poor or something?
Candy Crush 24/7 - you people are weird.
Because it is called "free choice" and I don't know of any one who spends 24/7 playing Candy Crush or any other ipad/iphone game.
I own my own business and work twice the hours my employees work so a little relaxation with a mindless game tends to take my mind away from the everyday stess of the business. I also am a member of a service club and help regularly with raising money and helping those worse off then me, do you suggest I am weird ???????
Forgot to add, I am stuck on 129.

You can only have a maximum of 5 lives at a time unless you buy a life charm which increases your life total and those are $28 or thereabouts..

Ahem.. you can change the date on your phone.

Yes but that doesn't increase the amount of lives you can have. They don't stack up, you can only have a maximum of 5 lives, it doesn't matter if you have bought 12 unless you have bought a life charm your life total will still be 5 regardless of how many you bought.
The game is designed so you'll have to spend money eventually, they're not going to make it so you can just keep stockpiling lives, which is why you have to buy the life charm to increase your life total

Yes, it does increase lives. There was a thread on candy crush here not long ago, most, if not all the posters on that thread didn't buy any lives or extras.

Yes but you can only have 5 lives at one time. What you are talking about is fast tracking the time between getting free lives. I have done this myself but you can still only have a maximum of 5 lives. Yes it does increase your lives if you're only on one life, but the maximum lives you can have is 5. When you have reached 5 lives it will say "Full" next to your lifecount.
Also the game has actually worked out what I was trying to do by changing the time on my phone. I now have to wait almost 4 hours before I get another life.
