Oh wilk don't be so dramatic, you must have fallen out the wrong sie of the bed this morning.    .   You got criticised not because of your views on gambling but on the issues in that thread -   where we all had our say and all feel strongly about it, just as you and most of us gave and got flak.  

Start a (calm) thread about gambling and you will find many support your views.

I think gambling is boring.  I once walked into the casino here in Melbourne when it was 1st opened, and there was lot of promotions for it with streamers and sparkles and happy people winning; well, it was full of sad looking people feeding their hard earned cash into some sort of machine.  Nobody talked to anybody and I was so glad that my partner looked at me with the "lets get out of here" look. 

And horse racing is even worse; horses forced to run at speeds not natural to them carrying 60kg on their backs, and getting whipped until they sweat blood and sometimes die.  I like horses too much to enjoy looking at races.  Most people go to races only to dress in stupid hats and get sloshed anyway. 

We suppose to be "civilised".

I don't like gambling...... I have zero interest in it.

It's for stupid people who don't have a hobby to spend their money on.......believing one day they will win big.

Look through the window of any TAB or Casino........ filled with losers.......the house always wins....lol.

As for gambling, Only thing I do is spend two dollars every friday on lottery tickets, not those instant ones, i get one friday night mega millions and one saturday night classic. if i win at all, i want to win big. like in the millions. Get out of this leaking camper.

I don't mind the odd play on the machines, but we tend to go to smaller clubs and pubs. I really hate the feel of Crown Casino much to the disgust of some of my friends who are always trying to talk me into going there.

wilke there is nothing wrong with hating gambling either,  gambling has proven to be a pretty destructive thing to many people and families
