i have 2 questions

how thin is the skin of some of the people here?

when you post long copy and paste do you actually read the whole lot before you post it? or just read the first couple of lines and decide that it suits what ever point( if you have you) are trying to prove?

why do some think others need or want them to read everything they post ?

I post longer c&ps (occasionally) in threads where the op likes them

Usually only quote a paragraph or two otherwise.. That is mainly in threads based on news stories and the c&p gives more info on the topic in the opening post.

People can be hypocrites though.. Make a statement in one thread the c&p in a post is too long and they wont read it etc. Then start a new thread of their own with a mega sized full article c&p...that they expect others to read??..

why does it matter what the ebay member who put the first post of a thread on this board likes and doesn't like ?

how do other posters know ?

do the guidelines change according to an individual member's likes and dislikes because their post (which is now part of ebay and belongs to all members)  is at the top of a thread.do they gain more power or control ?

these personal views on how things should be rather than how they are... leave it all so open to misuse and abuse and individual interpretation .
