That's one fair dinkum animal lover. I didn't know they could regrow their legs. Nice to read a happy story for a change.

I love the huntsman spiders, used to have one in the bed room that lived behind a painting, I like to watch him at night catching mozzies in the corners of the room.

I'm not really afraid of spiders and have caught and released quite a few huntsman. I have a soft spot for them. But on one occasion a really big huntsman was on the curtain. I approached him several times but on every occasion he lunged at me. In the end I thought bugger this, you're too aggressive for me - I became quite unnerved. I let him have the curtain.

I will leave a huntsman spider alone as long as it's not about to drop on me from the ceiling while I'm asleep.
I don't kill them. I try to get them outside if they're in the house. Or if they run and hide somewhere, I don't seek them out.
Haven't seen one in ages though.
Kind of sad wer'e killing off the insect life.

I used to be very good very a chinese food container and a piece of paper got to be quick as they are so fast,
The only times I screamed was when I filling up a watering can to water a plant and when it got to the top a giant huntsman jumped out and ran up my arm LOL
I still did not kill him

I used to put them out side because I think my 6.2 husband was not very fond of huntsman spiders LOL

Wow the spider knows when it's feedtime. I don't like spiders but it's a good story. I try to catch them and let them go in the garden when I can.
