What I never hear is Catholics themselves being up in arms about all the abuse. it doesnt happen. the flock are mostly silent.

as much as the abuse is widespread, it hasn't happened to ALL Catholics.

If I was disappointed and disgusted as a Catholic, I would make my voice be heard.

well it is not the church offending.. not the belief that they have that is hurting them... 

It is the people.... the system in the church was broken and it allowed for many very bad things to happen. 

But peoples faith in the Church and in their God is what held them strong. 

Churches are not the only place where paedophiles are.... should we break up all families because some families have offenders in them?

And I'm sure if that god is all loving it,d be understanding in why followers chose to keep their faith at home and not in church....I mean considering they pic and choose what to follow anyways?

maybe if they took a stand that church would finally clean their ranks?!
