Kicking Abbott out would be disastrous for the Labor Party. At present Labor have some of the best election win campaigners going around ie Abbott, Hockey,Dutton, Whiney , Hunt Brandis, Abetz and just so many others that Labor members won't have to campaign at all

Abbott can stare them down.
I certainly hope so, Abbott is the best thing Labor have going for them at the moment, they are a shoo in at the next election with him at the helm. I don't think it is a Labor chess move, more like an Uncle Rupert directive.

Tony should stay.My life's changed for the better since he abolished the mining tax and I'll be in clover after the RC winds up. Let's all voice our support for Tony .Tony's good for Australia, the world and humanity.

Here we have the left salivating to bring down a 1st term PM just like the dysfunction and chaos we were subjected to with Gillard and Rudd.
6 years of total and complete inward navel gazing, talking about themselves and completely ignoring whatever reason they were elected.
Labor destroyed itself and here we have the left wanting to go back there.

It's just a Labor Chess move.
