what sort of staff are in the 'department of child SAFETY' that ignore reports like this?

OMG !!!  Even family pets are treated better, these poor kids. Heads should roll o.k... I'd like to see whoever got notified locked up like that, but of course, they'll come up with all the excuses under the sun to cover themselves. Can't help wondering about the boys' Mum?... being a Mum myself, I'm just flabbergasted.

The problem with calling DoCS in Brisbane is you are likely to have a junior person answer the phone. They frequently provide advice on behalf of DoCS, but sometimes get it wrong. There are a number of actions they could have taken. It is tragic that those boys were forced to suffer for so long. I agree this needs to be investigated. DoCS must improve their service.
