Was anyone else surprised that Tracey made it through again?

Me.

More "disappointed" than "surprised" though. I wanted her to go.

Tracey has become one of my favourites. Can't say much for her cooking, but there is something gentle and harmless about her.

We get to see so little of Bonny that I wonder why she is even there. Matt and Marco never come to her bench to ask her questions about her dishes, and she very rarely features in the little clips of the chefs sitting by themselves and commenting about what is happening in the challenges. Is she a good chef? What is she thinking? Is she confident in the kitchen? You'll never hear Marco shout: "Bonny! Where's my duck? Where's my duck? Where's my duck? Where's my duck? Use two hands! Use two hands! Use two hands!" For all intents and purposes, she is ignored, and I think that this is because she is deaf, so we know bugger all about her skills or thoughts. She will never be captain either.

Akuc has been in the bottom 3 at least twice already, and survived for the weakest reasons. I think she is getting favourable treatment and wasn't surprised that she survived.

You have lost your Tracey, Moonlight.  I didn't think she did so bad last night but she's not really a team player and feels the pressure from the others.

I think you are right about Akuc.  She has done really well with cuisine from her own country but struggles with other styles.

She's good though and I hope she can broaden her food knowledge quickly to avoid getting dismissed.

I'm still liking Cassie to win and Rhett I think is also looking good.  I didn't like him at first but he has grown on me.  Another man too but I can't remember his name now.

Why is it that the camera focused for a few seconds on the open oven door that Bonny didn't shut properly but no one bothered to close it for her.  They knew it was open, unless that was a re stage.

I like Cassie and Bonny. They were showing so much of Bonny last night, right from the start, that I thought she was going to be eliminated. That's the first time we've really seen Bonny. I am glad she's still here.

Probably only the cameraman saw the open oven door, and it's not his job to close it.

I wonder what impact being on MCTP has had on the contestants, workwise, since the show highlights failures, and there have been big fails. Must be awfully embarrassing, and they must have alot of explaining to do, since they are "Professionals".

I have been following this series and watching each episode.

I still find it fascinating the dynamics in a professional cooking environment, and the tough treatment/expectations...like marco shouting at them half the time.

I also find it interesting how professionals can make such basic mistakes, and to be so public on national tv must harm their reputations.

there seems to be clear favourites, like always, the judges do seem to like Akuc

every season seems to have a multicultural influence (Akuc) a bad boy turned good (Rhys)

the ones I think have real talent and early predictions for going all the way

top 4? Rhett, Nick, Cassie and Akuc

I'm glad Bonny made it too.  Coop didn't do so good and he deserved to be there with Akuc.  I liked her but I didn't think she had enough experience with popular cooking.

I think that Cassie's creativity, skill and willingness to go out of her comfort zone will get her very far. I thought Coops pizza pavlova was quite creative and he was willing to take the risk. Too bad he stuffed up the base, if he hadn't, I think he'd be in the top 3.

This is the best challenge I have ever seen on MC - give them garbage and make them cook dishes. Really brings out the skill and experience in the better chefs. Give Rhett seafood, and he will smash it.

I thought Luke's sob story worked in his favour. Rule #1 of MC - cry and you will live to fight another day.

I saw Coop a few times. Can't decide who I want to go tonight.
