yes, you do. Not everyone has a pet, most people need to see a doctor at some stage.

yep you do and its quite quick if you have the bank thing set up but sometimes its finding the $60 to actually pay for it first

Only people without Medicare cards (non permanent residents or those who haven't ensured their Medicare card has been renewed before I it expires) pay the full Dr's charge.

If anyone is envious of what Dr's earn they could train to become one. Part of their fee goes to paying support staff, utilities, maintenance of building, new equipment etc.

Our local medical centre has an electronic machine that is connected to Medicare(?) The front counter staff put the transaction through the machine, the Medicare benefit is paid into their account and the patient pays the gap only.
