oops...

Gillard on TV says she met with Timmy on her return from LA...

I guess my source was wrong...

Sorry Ms Gillard...

I hope Timmy gets your front yard all cleaned up for you since it is overgrown and full of weeds.

I liked everything apart from the discussion on gay marriage, that was very weak.

I disagree and don't feel anywhere near the same as you, she ele.

An apology followed by an insult is not saying sorry, IMO, it's backtracking.

I agree with what Julia Gillard said about the integrity of the Australian press.

I agree with freddie, I will be interested in her book when it comes out.

I am sure Julia can afford to hire a gardener/ lawn mower when she gets around  to it.

Of course your source was uninformed gossip. none of it even added up.. 3 occasions/days when Tim wasn't seen with Julia since June... who was peeping in their private accom the other 90 odd days to prove Tim was never there?

I don't agree with she ele either.. apology my foot. OP seems to be more obsessed with Tim than Julia actually?

In 1986, at the age of 21, he was imprisoned for less than three years of a nine-year sentence for conspiracy to import narcotics

His appointment to lead the Department of Education and Training was criticised by opposition members of Parliament, the NSW Teachers Federation and the Public Principals Forum for his lack of experience in teaching and education.[2] The Teachers Federation also questioned his criminal background;[1] with the Federation's president, Maree O'Halloran, saying that a teacher with his background would be unable to continue teaching.

Almost 20 years ago. Should we not allow people a life after?

Would you like something like that to be used against you forever?

It was in reply to a post... could not find that post after I posted it.

I don't have an opinion either way.

I understood that response.  She just doesn't believe in marriage as it was in her young days.

It was and still is in many ways a patriarchal institution which was used to control women.

I think I admire her for her personal stance on gay marriage................. however, it is about equality which is quite different and should be seen to be.

I think catmad's apology was refreshing................ it isn't often posters apologise when they are wrong.

But that was not explained to the public with her stance

I understand she doesn't believe in marriage (that is what I took from it)

But why deny people that want to? Why is it only available to hetrosexuals?
