How would you react to this scenario?

Driving along a road you see a young boy in school uniform on his way to school waving a gun and knife at passing traffic.

Would you ignore him or take steps to ensure the gun and knife are 'toys' and not the real deal?

There is a huge difference between driving past a child waving an obvious toy gun to one that looks real. How hard is that to understand? For most of us not hard at all.

i do understand that there are drama queens in the community

do you think declaring some toy guns as prohibited weapons is an overreaction as well?   what do you think the reasoning behind the changes to the Vic Firearm Act was?

nah not really, depends on the complaints, im wondering if these prohibited toy weapons are still available in victorian stores?

and what age groups abused these type of toy guns to intimidate the public with?

were they 10 year old school kids?

yes, even more so!  a child should not be in a possession of a toy that looks like a real gun
