doco. that examines the power that's wielded by a very small group of conservative media owners, through take-overs and amalgamations -  corporations such as news ltd.; how they control what we, the public, get to see, how that power is abused by internally-enforced censorship, extraordinary political relationships;  sackings of those who get too close to the truth; corporate greed; manipulation, cover-up and distorted news reportage of various events, etcetera.

The Media are too powerful in this country.  I watch ABC because at least it has NO ADS, and attempts to provide a broader, more intelligent coverage.  Just take 'Go Back Where You Came From' = a stunningly insightful glimpse of the real story.  By comparison, if you believed MSM & the LNP,  you'd think it was an armed militia trying to invade the joint.

That's only one example of how the media PERPETUATES AND AMPLIFIES, the BS, thereby swerving public opinion in one direction or another via superficial sensationalism.  I call it Puddle Jumping for the Superficial.

They seem to think they ARE the news these days.....While they beg us us all to 'Follow them on Faceache', Like them on Twoddle....it's all just a monotonous stage show.

any comments on the state of our media ? is it good to recieve doctored selected news everyday ? should media select election outcomes ? whats better, facts or the selected opinions of people with agenda ?
