sick, need suggestions

so sick, been like this for days, chocking on my own fluids i guess, can't sleep, worse when i lay down. help

coughing head ache , end of my rope, need suggestions, try anythiung. want to end this cant take more ple

Joanie , don't worry so much about that. Just concentrate on how to get better....none of that other stuff really matters. Did you get your prescription and have you started it yet?

I always have a chuckle when in the US at different meanings of words.

Interestingly, a lot of Americans can pick I was originally a "Limey"

I'm not sure what your other treatment is Joanie. Are you on other meds? If you are, give a list of them to the pharmacist when you go to pick up your prescription and it will show up on the computer if it conflicts with any other meds. The pharmacist should be able to tell you also.

As for the steroid, make sure to ask if you need to take food with it and if you do, follow those directions to a T. It can lead to other problems if you don't and you don't need that.

On the bright side...the steroid actually makes you hot. My mother has COPD and has been on prednisone for several years and she's always wanting her airconditioning on.....so it may make you feel better in more ways than one!

Well, I'm not a doctor, so talk to your pharmacist before taking it.....but if your doctor is prescribing it and the pharmacist gives it the okay, then I think this will definitely make you feel better. From the sounds of it, it doesn't sound like you could feel much worse at this point. : (

Well I'm a little slow on the uptake.....so I may not have noticed had you not told me.

   Seriously?.....enough. Get your medication and just take it already.

   There is nothing worse than someone whinging about their health, yet they do nothing to help themselves.

Interesting. After reading all the posts on this thread, I'm left with the question - how does Joanie have the energy to keep up witth the thread, when from all accounts, she feels like she's dying?

I don't know about the rest of you, but when I'm THAT sick, the very last thing I'm concerned about is keeping up with forums!

And if a doctor prescribes something - I'm darn well gonna take it!
