Why don't we all take a deep breath and alike grown-ups?'
We haven't been saved from the jawss of hell.
We haven't sold our souls to the devil
We've had an election and a change of Government - a phenomen that has occurred on a regular basis ever since Federation
The sun will still rise tomorrow morning.
The Dockers will still get their home semi final,
And if the new Government really does do as lousy a job as some have predicted, we can kick them out again in three years time
My son made an interesting comment on FB today. Which you might all like to think about.
He said: 'It reminds me of when we were in Phuket one time. We went out boating for the day and returned to see Patong full of busses.
The taxi driver said they were "celebrating the change of government"
I said "Oh, have you had an election?"
He said "No"

Great post SheEl.
Sanity at last.
I didn't vote for either of the major parties and I was careful where my preferences went.....so it is no skin off my nose who won.
I do predict a leadership spill down the track with the Liberal party. Not hard to imagine who I would like to replace TA.
I am intensely interested in the results of the Upper House voting. Probably won't have them for weeks.
