Sukumaran, 31, and Chan, 29, were arrested and jailed as part of the so-called Bali Nine in 2005 after attempting to courier 8.2 kilograms of heroin, worth around $4 million, from Bali to Australia.

Were these two the ring leaders rather than a drug mule?

Yes Am, the 2 sentenced to death were the ringleaders. I think one of them was not even planning on carrying any drugs. All the mules got 20 years to life.

Presidential vote this year and they need room in the jail, not a week goes by that drug runners, sellers and users aren't caught in Bali. We only hear of the Australian or unusual ones.

Abide by the rules of the country you are visiting and you SHOULD be ok.

There is no choice for me to vote?

I don't support the death penalty under any circumstance........ but I respect the right of Indonesia to make it's own laws.

I dont believe in the death penalty but you have to abide by other countries rules and if that is one of them then you are very silly for breaking the rules.

Yes, but what if you just don't like the rules?

yep - by now the laws pertaining to drugs are pretty well known I would imagine, so if that's the penalty for the crime, so be it. If you don't like the penalty, either abstain from breaking the law or don't get caught.

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.
