The birth of a new grandchild, their first smile.
Birds chirping and nature in general, where I live in The Dandenongs, so many native animals around, always a good reason to smile and be happy that I live where nature is.

Putting roses into the pot on my dear old Dads grave then sitting on his grave smiling and talking about how I miss buying him his Darrell Lea rocky road to put in his Fathers Day gift and then sharing it with him. Those happy memories will be with me forever.

it's such a cool thing, when you feel comfortable talking to your lost loved ones, isn't it? i live way too far away to go to my parents graves, but i talk to them daily, and to my inlaws, who became my parents.
i've been looking at old photos lately, and laughing! THAT'S a joy too!

Well....I was wrong.......
I envy you flashie, sounds like you married the love of your life and that is beautiful and special (but you and hubby already know that).

Yes, and from Flashie's posts over the years she has the happiest craziest loving family I imagine her home would be full of smiles every day.
