This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

The possum houses. Rather than referring to them in vague terms - the spare one, the other spare one... ha ha, it's easier to call them what I call them.
There's the original house; Takeaway's abode.
The Brown house (I used "Walnut" wood stain on it. It's an pleasant enough ordinary shade of brown), which has seen quite a number of possums. Takeaway uses it sometimes, as an alternative to her place. Both Kogan and MacBeth slept there, during their respective "I need a accommodation now that Mum won't let me stay at her place" phases. And old Red possum stayed there while he was convalescing (there's a story in itself). It's certainly had some use.
Then there's the Honey house, stained with "Maple", so it's really the warm glow of maple syrup, rather than honey, but honey sounds good, ha ha. Donny has decided that rather than leaving the confines of the garden, she'll live in the Honey house.
Takeaway doesn't seem to mind that, which is curious, considering that she chased her other two offspring away, at every opportunity, while they were here, but is letting Donny stay. It seems very much out of character, but I'm sure she has her reasons.
Last, but not least is the Toffee house, stained with a mixture of Maple and Jarrah stains. It's the warm orange brown colour of toffee, like people used to make for sale at school fetes. I wonder if they do that, anymore?
The Toffee house is built with a wider doorway/entrance with a Mum and baby possum in mind. Also, the wider doorway, as I found this last Summer, is great for sprawling in; Takeaway's favourite method for coping with the heat.
The old man possum who looks like a well loved teddy bear prefers the Toffee house, when he comes to visit, and stay over.

Hey baybizz......
To me, Helene Fischer has a magnetism that is similar to Frieda of Abba.

I've had a couple of kookaburras repeat their visits to the compost heap area......some yummy witchety grubs are available.
A pair of magpies have strolled around the grassed areas lately. Walking and then turning their head, "putting their ear to the ground" prior to pitchforking their beak into the sod to come up with a small green grub
(The grubs have left dead spots in the lawn, so I don't mind the maggies natural way of insect/grub removal)

@ lloydslights: I agree. Helene Fischer is I believe the top selling artist in Germany, yet she seems to be little known outside the German speaking countries - she can sing in English when she wants to.

I don't remember if I've posted pictures of Pablo before, or not.
He turns his head from side to side, as though he's sitting at a window, watching the birds.
